Research area
The aim of my research is to propose a new paradigm concerning communication theory and linguistics. This new paradigm is able to interpret communication as a whole, therefore it can stand up to the challenges of our daily lives. In this manner, my research contributes to not only the world of academics, but the world we live in as well.
I conduct my research in the framework of augmented communication via products of popular culture. Thus the focus of my analysis is virtual communication and the phenomena which are to be found within, for example: meta-communication (not the conventional one!) and attributes of communication, e.g. character.
The corpus of this research is based on static and dynamic mediums (vs. media), focusing on Korean, Japanese, English and Hungarian.
